The large green, bronze, or fantastically variegated leaves of canna create a tropical effect as they unfurl in the garden. Massed in beds, in clumps in a border, or in pots on a terrace, they contribute handsome foliage and bold floral color during the warm months. Water and fertilize throughout the growing season. Any rich, organic well-drained soil. Where Cannas are hardy, divide the plants every three or four years. Attracts hummingbirds!
